Biography: Lt. Col. Lindy Kirkland, USMC (Ret) spent 5 years as a Marine One pilot for President George W. Bush before retiring from 22 years as a Marine aviator. Before flying the most photographed helicopter in the world, he flew the AH-1W SuperCobra attack helicopter. Lindy is also a volunteer pilot for the Veteran's Airlift Commmand and Angel Flight East. He also serves the Public Benefit Flying community as the President of the Air Care Alliance and is the Chapter President of EAA 1099.
